This is a 3 day course

Basic Instructor Training (BIT)

• Class Planning and Budgeting

• Scheduling Classes

• Ordering Training Materials

• Advertising

Basic Pistol (BP)

• Teaching in the Classroom

• Teaching on the Range

• Written Exam

Personal Protection in the Home (PPIH)

• Teaching in the Classroom

• Teaching on the Range

• Written Exam

Completion of the NRA Instructor Application

 Presented by NRA certified Training Counselor

Course Notes

Class is limited to 20 students 

Bring notepad, pen and 3 inch 3-ring binder

Check or Credit Card for fees payable to NRA.

• NRA Member:          24.50

• Non-NRA Member:  42.00

Need Center-fire pistol, holster, 2 mag pouches and at least 2 magazines and 200 rounds of ammo.

.22 LR Pistols and Ammunition provide for BP

Lunch is provided on Saturday & Sunday

• BIT                Friday      4 pm - 10 pm

• Basic Pistol Saturday  8 am - 6 pm

• PPIH             Sunday    8 am - 5pm

Course Fee: $290

First-Steps Pistol or Basic Pistol and PPIH required.
